Recap WECAN Retreat 2026

On 14-15th April, we held our annual WECAN Retreat gathering in the beautiful city of Prague. Despite what the name suggests, there wasn’t much time to relax, but the time we spent together was truly precious and incredibly productive!

We dedicated two intense days to deep discussions, exchanges, updates, networking, joint reflection, and creative planning with the WECAN Board, representatives from WECAN member organisations, and even observers from organisations who have expressed interest in joining the WECAN Network.

Meeting in person, sharing ideas, and shaping the future of the WECAN Foundation and its key activities and projects is what makes this gathering so special. It’s a moment to sharpen our vision, open new horizons, and look ahead to our shared mission for cancer patients across Europe and beyond.
