As WECAN approaches its 10th anniversary, we are thrilled to announce that preparations for WECAN Academy 2025 are in full swing. This flagship training event will take place June 26–29, 2025, in Fiumicino (Rome), Italy, bringing together patient advocates from across Europe.

The WECAN Academy is more than just a training program; it’s a celebration of our diverse and united community. With tailored tracks for both emerging and experienced advocates, -SmartStart and MasterClass- participants will engage in sessions covering advocacy tools, healthcare systems, policy, research, and data. These sessions are designed to equip advocates with the skills and knowledge needed to drive meaningful change in healthcare.

What truly sets the WECAN Academy apart is the spirit of collaboration and mutual support. Advocates from various backgrounds and countries come together, sharing experiences and building lasting connections. This unity strengthens our collective voice and amplifies our impact across Europe.
