PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING
WECAN believes that blended learning is one key step to reaching our goal of strengthening patient advocacy in Europe. We in WECAN believe that an online education program that is easily accessible will not only help patient advocates learn more and faster but also help us better invest in continuing education to increase the impact of our advocacy activities.
New patient advocates need the fundamentals when starting their organizations while expert participants need refinement of those same skills. An online platform will train advocates in these skills and allow WECAN to expand our offerings. Time and availability of the current offers can hinder motivation. A self-paced course will allow patient advocates to learn wherever and whenever they can.
Access to the WECAN Academy online courses is free for patient advocates. Included at no cost are: access to the course materials, interactive assignments for knowledge retention, and an online community
